Since 2022, Awan has partnered with The Munathara Initiative to deliver fact-checking for Zaama Townhall, a civic engagement project that brings citizens and decision makers together for open, fact-based dialogue on public issues, broadcast on television networks in Tunisia and Lebanon. These debates brought together politicians, civil society actors, journalists, and public figures in highly polarized environments, creating a strong need for real-time verification and post-broadcast accountability.

This dual approach ensured audiences had access to reliable, evidence-based information as debates unfolded, positioning Awan as a regional pioneer in integrating fact-checking directly into live political programming.
